Position: Bricks 4 Kidz After School Club Teacher

This is a term time position, from 3-5pm weekdays but could also lead to work in the school holidays and at weekends.

We are hiring now for part-time after school club lead instructors in the local area of Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and West Malling. We are looking for people who are fun, reliable, have an excellent work ethic and a creative imagination.

This is a great opportunity for a teaching assistant, a trainee teacher, a midday attendant, or perhaps a parent with older children or retired person. Training is given.

Requirements:

· Age: 18 years old or older.

· Driver’s license.

· You must have your own car in order to transport Lego to various locations. (required).

· Ability to lift 50lbs.

· Experience working with primary-aged children is preferred.

· A current Enhanced DBS Certificate is a plus however we can arrange this if needed.

· Reliable, punctual, professional, presentable and have an excellent work ethic.

· Creative and imaginative.

· Passion for LEGO® and STEAM principles ( science, technology, engineering, art, maths)

· Must be comfortable conducting a class of up to 16 children aged 5-11 years.

Responsibilities:

· Guiding the class in following instructions to make working technical Lego models and Lego mosaic art.

· Encouraging cooperation and teamwork among children, fostering an environment where they can collaborate to complete projects.

· Facilitating creative play and encouraging children’s own imaginative builds.

· Discussing the wider context of each term’s theme – from dinosaurs to natural power. Material is provided.

· Providing an enthusiastic environment that also nurtures respect.

You will show kids from 5-11 years old how to make awesome, moving creations using LEGO® bricks in a fun and safe environment.

This is a Part-Time opportunity for after school LEGO® club assistants in the local areas of Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and West Malling. We are looking for people who are reliable, have an excellent work ethic and a creative imagination.

Requirements:

· Age: 17 years old or older.

· Driver’s license. You must have your own car and be able to travel to and from the schools.

· Experience working with primary-aged children is preferred.

· A current Enhanced DBS Certificate is a plus however we can arrange this if needed.

· Reliable, punctual, professional and an excellent work ethic.

· Passion for LEGO® and STEAM principles (science, technology, engineering, art and maths).

· Helping the class instructor by working with the kids to follow instructions and complete the LEGO® technic models and LEGO® mosaic art.

Position: Bricks 4 Kidz Holiday Club Assistant

We are hiring NOW for a fun and enthusiastic person who loves working with kids. Bricks 4 Kidz is offering a wonderful job opportunity where you can really make a difference and encourage learning through play.

This is a part-time opportunity for school holiday camps as well as weekend birthday parties in the local areas of Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells and West Malling. We are looking for people who are fun, enthusiastic, reliable, have an excellent work ethic and a creative imagination.

Requirements:

· Age: 15 years old or older.

Pay: £6.50-£10.00 per hour depending on experience
