Field Trips and Workshops

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Bricks 4 Kidz Field Trips and Workshops offer a unique blend of education and entertainment. We believe that the best learning happens when students are actively involved, and that’s why we’ve integrated the power of LEGO® bricks into our programs. Through building, experimenting, and problem-solving, students gain a deeper understanding of various subjects in a dynamic and immersive environment.

Bricks 4 Kidz programs were developed with the goal of easy classroom integration. Our workshops help students conceptualize what they are learning by guiding them through hands-on lessons related to their current curriculum objectives. When you request one of our LEGO® creative workshops, we take care of everything. A professional Bricks 4 Kidz instructor will arrive with lesson plans, presentation materials and all the LEGO® Bricks your students could want.

What teachers say about us

Caroline and her team came to The Prep to lead and manage some Lego themed workshops as part of our STEAM day.  Caroline was very quick to respond to my requests and really listened to the aims and objectives of the day.  She was able to change her activities to meet our theme and shared her proposal with me prior to the event. Caroline and her team began the day with fun assembly which enthused and motivated the children and also explained the various activities that would be on offer. The sessions were well-planned, thorough and engaging. The pupils really enjoyed the variation of adult lead activities as well as the freedom to build and explore with their own creations.
From Reception through to Year 2, you could see the progression of skills and most importantly, the children really enjoyed the sessions and were engaged throughout

As a school, we would highly recommend Bricks 4 Kidz. The organisation prior to the workshops was stress free and excellent! On the day, you could hear the buzz or excitement through the halls as the children got stuck in with a wide range of LEGO building. The children were not stretched for different LEGO bricks and pieces. Caroline and her colleague were using and modelling high-level vocabulary, linking to the Design and Technology curriculum. Teachers said that behaviour management was fantastic, and that all children were engaged throughout their sessions. Thank you for a wonderful day and experience for the pupils at Senacre Wood Primary School!

At Shernold School, we have an annual Science day. Our theme was Space Encounters and having already had my own child enjoy a Bricks 4 Kidz workshop at her primary school on the same theme, I decided to invite Caroline Cobb and her team to Shernold. The day was a huge success and all of the children commented on how much they enjoyed the workshop activities. The workshops were organised, well-resourced and great fun. Caroline ensured that the planned activities for each year group were age appropriate, challenging but achievable and timed to perfection. I would thoroughly recommend Bricks 4 Kidz and Caroline is extremely knowledgeable in her field

A Lego frenzy took place at Hilden Grange amongst our Y3 & 4 pupils as they eagerly engaged in the Bricks4kidz creative and coding challenges as part of our school STEM Week.  Every child was actively involved, and they all absolutely loved it.  We would definitely book again in the future.

Bricks 4 Kidz- what an amazing day you provided for our children! The children were engaged from start to finish and the feedback from staff, pupils and parents has been fantastic. We really appreciate you working so closely with us to meet the expectations of our Design Technology outcomes; the children truly had chance to design, make, adapt and evaluate their designs. The children really thought of themselves as architects. I would thoroughly recommend your workshop to any primary school and hope that we can welcome you back next year

We had an amazing Lego workshop focussing on gearing and levers in Year 5. The children were able to be creative with their model making and they worked well in teams to follow instructions and problem solve when making their Lego pieces with gears and levers. The children had great fun and we hope to do the workshop again! Thank you!

Bricks 4 Kidz ran a competition to win a free workshop in a local school, my class (Year 3, Molehill Primary Academy) won and we are so glad we did! The children absolutely loved the experience, being able to get creative and take control of their learning. The were amazed at being able to create something out of Lego which moved with a motor. Thank you for making this experience come to life for our children Caroline!
